An EFT file, short for Electronic Fingerprint Transmission, is a digital file containing your fingerprints and demographic details. These files come in various formats depending on the requesting agency's requirements. Lonestar Verify Diagnostics helps you address compliance requirements for ATF EFT File services for individuals completing Form 1 or Form 4 through ATF's eForms portal. Our nationwide network of locations can capture your fingerprints, and you'll receive your EFT file electronically within 72 hours. This EFT file can be downloaded and saved for future use with any ATF requirement. When filling out your application on ATF's eForms portal, you'll simply upload the EFT file provided by PrintScan. What to do after receiving your EFT file? - Once your fingerprint appointment is complete, you won't be able to view the EFT file. Your next step is to provide the EFT file to your FFL dealer. After the fingerprint service, you will receive a link to download your file. The link will expire 30 days after it is issued. After expiration, the file will no longer be accessible. - Do NOT download the file to your cell phone, as it won't work. - Do NOT attempt to open the encrypted file; it's not viewable. - DO ensure you download your file to a trusted computer as soon as you access it. - DO send a copy of the EFT file to your local FFL dealer for uploading.
