Note: This testosterone blood test is clinically appropriate only for individuals assigned male at birth (AMAB). If you were assigned female at birth (AFAB) and are seeking testosterone testing, consider the Total Testosterone Test for Women. This test reports total testosterone levels up to 1500 ng/dL. If your level exceeds this, results will show “>1500 ng/dL,” instead of an exact value. In this case, free testosterone cannot be calculated accurately.
