Service Description

* Service for customer's that are American citizens or a Green Card holder (permanent residents) A process authorized by FBI Order 556-73 that allows individuals to obtain a copy of their own Identity History Summary (FBI Background Check/Rap Sheet) for personal review, challenge, or to prove the non-existence of a record. Purpose: Used for personal background checks, immigration, foreign travel, or to challenge accuracy in the FBI records. Process: Fingerprints are captured via Live Scan (electronic) or on an FD-1164 card and submitted directly to the FBI for processing. Requirements: Requires personal identification and a valid reason, such as "Personal Review". **Not for Employment: DO fingerprints cannot be used for employment or licensing, which require a different submission process (via an Authorized Recipient/ORI).
